David Yeh

David Yeh is a private cleantech investor and entrepreneur who has been investing in the sector for the last 10 years in the EU, China, and USA. Most recently, he was the first hire for Generation IM's (Al Gore cofounded fund) private equity effort where he helped launch the $683mm Climate Solutions fund. David has also helped create a $2bn energy efficiency lending program for IFC in China. David started his career at an environmental NGO where he helped build the bipartisan Headwaters Coalition that protected 44,000 acres of old growth redwoods. David has sat on boards of several growth technology companies. He has spoken on cleantech and sustainable development at the World Economic Forum and Council of Foreign Relations and has been cited by the Wall Street Journal. He is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and proficient in French.

David holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Rolf Brauchler

Rolf is a proven entrepreneur and executive with over 30 years' experience in building Silicon Valley companies. He has particular depth in marketing, sales and business development, and expertise in crafting market entry strategies and growing top-line results by creating targeted partner/customer relationships. Most recently, he was a partner at 532 Solar, a solar project development company focused on providing clean energy and cost savings to commercial and industrial clients. Previously, he was instrumental in building a security software business as COO of Valyd, Inc., which was acquired by EMC Corp. Prior experience includes executive positions with FreeGate Corp., NET, Inc., and Quantum Corp. Rolf began his business career as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Rolf holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Engineering Design from Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University.

Tom Foody

Tom is a seasoned operations and finance executive with extensive venture-backed company experience. A hands-on, versatile leader who knows how to make it happen, he played interim CFO and CEO roles for multiple start ups for Goldman Sachs, Kleiner Perkins and NEA portfolio companies on a retainer basis. Prior to that, Tom was the CFO of Actional from the initial bootstrapped operation through tech-bubble growth, post-bubble restructuring of the company and four CEOs until its Oct/04 merger with Progress Software. He was also the Business Manager and Acting CFO for a leading biotechnology manufacturer of alternative fuels (cellulosic ethanol) called Iogen.

Tom holds a B.S. in Engineering from, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Troy, New York (International Student Scholarship), an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University (National Science Foundation Research Assistantship), and an M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Research Assistantship).

Canice Wu

Canice is currently the President of Plug and Play Tech Center. He has over 20 years of experience in developing and scaling successful businesses from concept to market leader. Canice was the CEO of Insights OnDemand, providing on demand Business Intelligence solutions. He founded and grew the business from concept to sustainable expansion achieving 200% revenue growth annually. Prior to Insights OnDemand, he was Vice President, General Manager and COO of CRM and Industry Solutions at Siebel Systems where he founded and led the Financial Services business unit and grew the business from scratch to over $300 million in revenue in 5 years. He came to Siebel from Booz, Allen & Hamilton where he was a management consultant specializing in forming business strategies and market penetration plans for Fortune 500 companies. He has also held engineering management positions at Oracle and Texas Instruments.

Canice holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.

Jeff Wald

Jeff has 12 years experience in finance and operations. Jeff is currently working at an activist hedge fund called Barington Group and loves to be engaged with start ups: funding, building, and advising multiple. He is the co-founder, COO and CFO of Spinback, an e-commerce toolkit that enables product recommendations throughout the social web. Prior to Spinback, Jeff was a VP at The GlenRock Group, an investment firm with offices in New York and Tel Aviv. While at GlenRock from 2003 to 2007, Jeff focused on business services and technology investments completing 16 transactions, producing a 66% IRR on realized investments. Prior to GlenRock, Jeff was in the M&A Group at JP Morgan for five years. Despite his busy schedule, Jeff finds the time to volunteer for the NYPD and the Opportunity Network and to pursue his personal interests such as martial arts, SCUBA diving, and yoga.

David Riemer

David is one of the leading marketers in the Internet industry. He spent the last decade developing and bringing great products to web users worldwide. Following his career as an ad agency President with J. Walter Thompson, David brought his strategic and marketing leadership to two start-ups and an internet titan, Yahoo!. In various roles at Yahoo!, David managed marketing for virtually all of Yahoo! ' s products across their customer base of 500M users. David is now advising emerging Internet and consumer technology companies and serving as an executive in residence at the Haas Business School (UC Berkeley).
